Who we are
Emira Manpower & Training Solutions ("Emira", "we") operates the Emira Manpower website, Admin ERP and the Emira Manpower mobile application (collectively, the "Platform") for international workforce recruitment, deployment and management.
Information we collect
Depending on your role (candidate or agency) we may collect: name, email, mobile number, date of birth, gender, nationality, passport information, address, education, work experience, skills, driving licence details, job application information, agency details, and documents you upload (passport, photo, medical report, offer, contract, education/experience certificates, police clearance, visa). For document capture we access your camera and photo library only when you choose to upload. We also process basic app/device information needed to operate the service.
Why we collect it
To create and manage your profile, match and apply you to jobs, process your recruitment workflow (screening, interview, medical, contract, visa, joining, deployment), verify your documents, generate agency commission and invoices, send you recruitment status notifications, and comply with employer and legal requirements.
Document & OCR processing
Uploaded documents are stored securely and accessed only by authorised Emira staff and, where relevant, the assigned agency and employer for your application. We use AI-assisted OCR to help read documents (e.g. passport fields). OCR is assistive only — a human reviews and verifies before a document is marked verified.
How we protect it
Access is controlled by role-based permissions and backend authorisation. Agencies can only access their own candidates and data. Documents are never publicly accessible and are served only to authorised, authenticated users over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed; authentication uses signed tokens. We do not store database credentials or API keys in the mobile app.
Sharing
We share information only as needed to deliver the service: with the employer/client for your specific application, with your assigned recruiting agency (candidates you are linked to), and with infrastructure/service providers (secure cloud hosting and the AI/OCR processor) under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal data.
Data retention & deletion
We retain records for as long as needed for the recruitment relationship and legal obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion of your account and personal data — see our Account Deletion page or email us.
